illust of Klaude, Elliot, and Repel :Ddrawn by
Kokomori Ty bby!
I never found the idea of original characters appealing nor ever thought I will.
L. Faustis somehow endured my resentment. It has been 3 yrs ever since I first wrote about
L. Faustis, an idea that came to me one rainy night. It is particularly interesting because I never really cared much about writing stories, but this one just had to come down on paper. Tbh, I have no idea what the "L" stands for. It stood for a character now trashed.
Maybe one reason why my characters broke through the barrier is because of the power of allusions. Take the trio above for instance. They are symbolism for the Biblical archangels.
I debated on creating Raphael/Repel for obvious reasons, but that's a story for another time... Yes, the idea of drawing archangels is done numerous times. However, the attempt to try recreating an idea with a fresh look is limitless. I even went and studied conservative paintings to see how the grandmasters portrayed the archangels, haha. I have yet to properly portray the other characters but definitely will soon! Each character has a place in my heart.
Why do I persist on keeping
L. Faustis alive? New stories build off from old stories, and each one has a different underlying message. Mine is merely to express my love for Father. Thanks for reading!
God bless.
